Beta

So what does it mean?

Beta is the term used for sites and/or programs that are currently under development but are believed to be stable enough to be but in to the Beta stage, which means the site or program is made available for its potential users to use and test. It is very often the best way for company's to develop their software/sites as they are able to get a very big audience to test their scripting before the final, stable version is released. When you use a piece of Beta software or a Beta site you understand that there may be problems or errors on the site/software, if you find any issues it is common practice to report any issues you may come across so they can be fixed in either the next Beta release (programmers may very often release multiple versions of the script in Beta before the final script is produced) or the final release. And even after the final release there will still be updates but the script is stable and should not have any issues.
